These two “G” words have been resonating in my mind all week. We have been on the receiving end of many generous gifts these past weeks. Gifts of kind and encouraging words, money, gift cards, and friendship. It has been a bit overwhelming, in a good way, and I am glad we’ll soon have space to process each thoughtful comment, put the money and gift cards to good use, and have time to spend with friends.
It’s no wonder that from the generous gifts we have been given comes a spirit of gratefulness. Grateful that we have both enjoyed our jobs and colleagues, that we have a loving family and incredible community of friends, that we have each other, and that we have the chance to make this unbelievable adventure.
